Prostatitis — an inflammation of the prostate glands (prostate).The prostate gland is a part of the male reproductive system that lies just below the bladder and through which the urethra (urinal tube) passes. Because of its arrangement around the urethra, the prostate can potentially constrict the flow of urine through the urethra.
